O. Raymond Miller, 81, of Montpelier passed away Tuesday morning at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan. He was born on February 14, 1935 in Marshall, Michigan to Rollie “Orville” and Retha (Malone) Miller. Raymond attended Montpelier High School and Tri State University in Angola, Indiana. On November 19, 1951 he married Yovannah M. Lanius in Hillsdale Michigan. He was a tool designer for ARO corporation and previously for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington.
Raymond is survived by his wife Yovannah; three children, Jackie Wolf of Napoleon, Ohio, Jeff (Linda) Miller of Charlotte, North Carolina and Jerry Miller of Kunkle, Ohio; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one sister Florence (Norman) Smith of Salisbury, Maryland; and one half-sister Elaine (Don) Schenck of Decatur, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Michael Miller.
Visitation for Raymond will be on Friday, September 30th from 11am-2pm at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier. He will be laid to rest at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
