Ohio 15/18 bridge over Tiffin River in Defiance County to close May 20th.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced that the Ohio 15/18 bridge over the Tiffin River in Defiance County will now close on May 20 and not on April 15 as stated previously. This will help coincide with the reopening of the U.S. 127 bridge over the Maumee River, according to ODOT. That is tentatively scheduled for May 10. The U.S. 127 bridge, just south of Sherwood, has been closed since early May 2023 for a complete replacement. The anticipated plan is to reopen the area after 90 days.
