Apparently, the people of Ohio are not prone to restrain their language.
The Seattle-based Marchex Institute, in a recent study, found that Buckeye State residents by and large, can swear along with the best sailors.
The institute studied more than 600,000 phone calls placed in the last year from consumers to businesses using voice-recognition software that was uncanny at picking up curse words that, well, I can’t say here on the radio. The result? Ohio residents swore more than any other state. Ohio also ranked in the top five least courteous states judged by the times that residents said please or thank you.
