Everything is more expensive…everywhere…or so it seems. A national study shows Ohioans pay among the lowest average premiums in the nation for auto and homeowners insurance. This is from the Ohio Department of Insurance. They say the National Association of Insurance Commissioners determined Ohioans paid an average of $850 for homeowners insurance…that’s the ninth best in the country…and $727, or 14th best…for auto insurance. These are based on 2016 numbers. The combined savings in the Buckeye State per household?…$551…firmly below the national average.
