Pamela J. Kerr, age 64, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:46 A.M. on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, where she was a patient, after an extended illness. Mrs. Kerr was a 1971 graduate of Defiance High School and had been employed at several places in the area, including Paragon Plastics and her last employment at Bryan Canning, where she was an inspector. She enjoyed playing online poker and her trips to the casino, knitting, cooking and baking cookies with the grandkids and was an enthusiastic viewer of her soap operas and the show “Cops.”
Pamela J. Kerr was born on November 16, 1951, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Florence (Pocock) Barker. She married John Kerr on September 14, 1974, in Stryker, Ohio, and he survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Chad (Shilo) Kerr, of Montpelier, Ohio, and Andy (Lacy Gorsuch) Kerr, of Bryan; four grandchildren, Kyrin Schuman and Jade, Kaitlin and Gunner Kerr; one great-grandchild, Rowen Moreno; two sisters, Charleen (Don) Stanfield, of Defiance, and Lee Ann (Brian) Overmeyer, of Gibsonburg, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating. Interment will be private.
