Paperwork Slows The Process

An application filed with SharedWork Ohio to compensate county employees for lost hours due to budget reductions during COVID-19 has not yet been approved by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. We reported originally, the reductions were expected to take effect on May 9. Officials say due to the delay at the state level, and paperwork issues at the local level, the reductions are being moved back to an as-yet-undetermined date. It could take up to 30 days.
