Paul B. Lloyd, 90

Paul B. Lloyd, age 90, of Ney, Ohio, passed away at 6:29 A.M. on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was a machinist at Defiance Precision Products and retired in 1989. Paul was a US Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the Bryan Church of the Nazarene and the Bryan American Legion Post 284. Paul enjoyed hunting and all outdoor activities, especially watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Paul B. Lloyd was born on March 12, 1927 in Defiance, Ohio, the son of Charles W. and Emma M. (Wagner) Lloyd. He married Lieselotte (Lottie) Emma Dehnert on December 4, 1948 and she preceded him in death.

Paul is survived by his son, Robert L. (Anita) Lloyd, of Ney; granddaughters, Amanda (Scott) Wolfrum, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brianna L. Lloyd, of New Haven, Connecticut and Katherine J. (Doug) Rakes, of Defiance; step-grandson, Chris (Tiffani) Hauler, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; step-granddaughter, Erica (Daryl) Edge, of Perrysburg, Ohio; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Murel (Shirley) Lloyd, of Defiance, Elden Lloyd, in Kentucky, and Charles “Junior” (Marlene) Lloyd, of Defiance and sisters, Ruth (Kenneth) Armstrong, of Defiance, Sylvia Lloyd, of Bryan and Darlene Thomas, in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Virgil Lloyd.

Funeral services for Paul B. Lloyd will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in the Bryan Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Roger Blough officiating. Burial at Shiffler Cemetery will follow the services with graveside military rites provided by the Bryan VFW Post and US Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan and one hour prior to the service at the church.
