Peggy Ann Acosta, 47

Peggy Ann Acosta, age 47, of Defiance, went home with the Lord on June 10, 2014 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, after a four-year battle of liver disease. Peggy had been an employee of Silgan Can Company before her accident.

Peggy was born on July 11, 1966 to Jesse and Mary Acosta of Malinta. Peggy served the Lord as a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Hamler, Ohio. In August of 1988 she married Timothy Kryder, then later divorced. Peggy had one son, Matthew Allan Kryder of Napoleon and two grandsons that were her world, Gabe and Emmet Kryder. Also surviving are her father, Jesse Acosta of Malinta; four sisters, Patricia Stidham of McClure, Delores Rice of Archbold, Mary Ann Acosta of Malinta, and Margaret Camarillo of Napoleon. She had many nieces and nephews. Peggy loved riding bike and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Acosta; grandparents, Frank and Nellie Acosta and Guadalupe and Apolonia Mora; and her brother, Joseph Acosta.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Napoleon. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:30 until the time of service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the family to help pay the funeral expenses. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
