Peggy D. Figueroa, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio died at 8:43 A.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Peggy was a 1966 graduate of Liberty Center High School and graduated from Warner Beauty College. She worked at Schlegel, had managed several area restaurants and worked at Miller’s New Market in Bryan. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cross stitch, crocheting, quilting and making para-cord bracelets. Peggy attended Life Changing Realities Fellowship in Edgerton.
Peggy was born on September 15, 1946, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of Donald L. and Gladys V. (Slee) Nash. She married Jose A. Figueroa on June 28, 2002 in Bryan and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Mark Albus, of Springfield, Missouri, Jennifer Vance, of Toledo, Chris Albus, of Lake James, Indiana and Becky (John Rodriguez, Jr.) Albus, of Wauseon; grandchildren, Cynthia, Alex, Collin, Maysyn and Brody; two great grandchildren; brother, Walter Nash, of Fayette; sisters, Marjorie Babcock, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Janet (Doug) Thierry, of Windber, Pennsylvania, and Lois Nash, of Carrollton, Kentucky; close friends, Marilyn Chestnut, Joanna Foreman, Jason Oiler, Michael Black, Chassity Grimm, Robert VanHorn, Tim Jenkins and many others and her pets, Jasmin and Buddy. Preceding her in death were her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating.
