Philip Blade Snider, 33, of Sturgis, Michigan, and formerly of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 5, 2023, in his residence.  Philip was born May 14, 1990, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of David R. Boger and Rachel L. Snider.  He was a 2008 graduate of Hicksville High School.  Philip worked as a Crane Operator at ProTech Anodizing in Ligonier, Indiana.  Philip always had a smile on his face, and could light up the room when he walked in.  He will be dearly missed by his friends and family, who he loved spending time with, especially his niece and nephew.

Philip is survived by his mother, Rachel L. Snider of Jenison, Michigan; father, David R. Boger of Antwerp, Ohio; three siblings, Michelle (Wayne Rimer) Wenman of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, Cameron Boger of Boston, Massachusetts, and Makenna Chaffins of Edgerton, Ohio; grandparents, Patricia (Jon) Friend of Woodruff, South Carolina, and Philip A. Snider of Hicksville, Ohio; one niece, Persephone Rimer; one nephew, Niklaus Rimer; and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by a sibling, Gerald “Jerry” Wenman; grandmother, Linda Snider; grandfather, Allen “Dean” Boger; and a nephew, Boston Daniel Snider.

Visitation for Philip Blade Snider will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.  Funeral services for Philip will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Symps Ndlovu officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family.
