Plane Crash NW FTW

A private plane crashes in a field in northwest Fort Wayne, near the intersection of Till and Bethel roads. The pilot, David DeWald told officials the aircraft lost power. No injuries were reported. DeWald contacted Fort Wayne International Airport and began to weigh his options. That’s when he decided to put the plane down far from any buildings or roads. The small plane could be seen upright but with its tail in the air in the field.
