Police have arrested three teenage suspects in the homicide of a 17-year-old in south Toledo on July 4. The suspects, all juveniles, were arrested Monday, according to Toledo police. They are accused of shooting and killing 17 year old Jaycion Bennett on Friday. The suspects, identified by police as a 13-year-old, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, are all charged with murder. Bennett’s death was ruled a homicide caused by gunshot wounds to the chest, back and left upper arm, according to an autopsy report from the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
