The Bryan Board of Public Affairs members agree with a study that found Bryan Municipal Utilities could benefit from an advanced metering infrastructure system. Advanced metering involves the use of high-tech meters that can automatically and remotely record energy consumption and other measurements, and send that information to a given destination. No action was taken at the meeting but the board agreed to further consider its options.
