Ralph R. Beerbower, 78

Ralph R. Beerbower, 78 years, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance. Ralph was born June 4, 1939 in Bryan, Ohio, the son of the late Briton and Berniece (Winters) Beerbower. Ralph was a member of the Army Reserve, where he served for many years. Ralph married Deanne Lilly on March 31, 1979, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives. Ralph was a Tool and Die Maker for ARO Corp. for 42 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Bryan First Presbyterian Church and First Families of Williams County. Ralph enjoyed designing things, making sure they worked. He tinkered with many things. He previously enjoyed hunting and fishing, but as he aged, his heart became tender, and he enjoyed watching nature. Ralph loved to spend time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Deanne of Bryan; seven children, Jeff (Cathy) Beerbower of Bryan, Chris (Tracy) Beerbower of Ocala, Florida, Kim (Robert) Smith of Edgerton, Lilly (Steve) Brown of Montpelier, Rick Bany of Montpelier, Greg Bany of Edgerton and Vicki Ridenour of Montpelier; son-in-law, Ralph Jones of Edon; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie (Mike) Bowers of Waldron, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Jones; granddaughter, Sheena Rae Jones and one brother, Infant James Beerbower.

Funeral services for Ralph R. Beerbower will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in First Presbyterian Church, 506 Oxford Drive, Bryan with Pastor Barry Sweet officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
