Raub Steps Down

Williams County Elections Director, Evan Raub has submitted his resignation, effective Feb. 28. It was accepted by the elections board at a special meeting. Raub, a Democrat, had served since May 2021, filling the spot vacated by Katrena Ebersole, who had resigned to move to out of state. The board has approved advertising for a replacement, and resumes are due by Friday. The applicant must be a registered Democrat. The board hopes to fill the position by its March 8 meeting. The next election is the May 3rd party primary.
