In Fulton County, Job and Family Services is working to help people who’ve been released from jail get a second chance. The program is Re-Entry Connection, now a one-on-one support system with a trained facilitator to help re-enter society after release. The program helps with financial struggles, transportation issues, education, mental health, substance abuse and other issues they face. JFS says so far, 41 percent of participants have found jobs, and the others are working on resume-development and other related skills.
