Steuben County deputies arrest 30-year-old Steven Restemayer…in connection to a July murder. Prosecutors say Daniel Sheets’ body was found in the basement of a burned out home on North C.R. 675 E in Fremont Township. Officers found Restemayer hiding in a camper, nearby. He was taken into custody on an unrelated outstanding arrest warrant and quickly became a person of interest. After five months of investigation, an arrest warrant was issued. Restemayer remains held, without bond.
