Richard Lee Miller, 76

Richard Lee Miller, 76 years, of Grabill, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 in his residence with his family by his side. Richard was born August 29, 1944 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of the late Henry and Esther (Kemp) Miller. He was a 1963 graduate of Odon High School. Richard married Clara M. Yoder on April 1, 1967 in Allen County, Indiana and she survives. Richard worked at International Harvester for 18 years until his retirement. He then worked at Dutch Made Cabinets in management. Along with his wife, Clara, Richard was a member of Hicksville Mennonite Church. Richard was a man of faith and was devoted to studying the Bible. He cherished his time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. In his free time, Richard enjoyed woodworking, reading, golfing and playing the guitar.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Clara Miller of Grabill, Indiana; three children, Tammy (Kris) Miller of Grabill, Indiana, Jim Miller of Mountain City, Tennessee, and Rachel (Nelson) Miller of Middlebury, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Blake (Mackenzie) Miller, Sawyer (Breckelle) Miller, Madison Miller, Cody Miller, Jaci Miller, Xavier Miller, Peyton Miller, and Zoey Miller; great-grandson, Greyson Miller; sister, Hazel Wilson of Washington, Indiana and brother, Mike (Lavone) Miller of Odon, Indiana. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Logan Miller.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family will hold a private service. Interment will be made in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill, Indiana. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Services are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.
