Richard T. Maze, age 72, of Wauseon and formerly of Toledo passed away early Saturday December 20, 2014 following an extended illness. Prior to his retirement he had been a cook for John Fronk’s various restaurants.
Mr. Maze was born in Toledo on August 31, 1942 the son of the late Lewis and the late Eleanor (Jacobs) Maze. He was a US Army veteran. On June 1, 2010 he married Marjie Griffin and she survives. Also surviving is son Tommy Winkelman of Toledo, four grandchildren and sisters, Deanna Currier of Wauseon and Viola Bostelman of Wauseon. Preceding him in death besides his parents were sisters; Bonnie Lou Melber and Lisetta Irene Kine and brother, David Charles Maze.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm Sunday December 28, 2014 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00pm until service time on Sunday. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
