Ricky L. “Rick” Beck, 69, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Hillside Country Living, Bryan. Rick was born February 20, 1954, in Montpelier, Ohio, son of Jacob “Jake” and Virginia (Branham) Beck. He attended Montpelier High School. Rick previously worked for 20/20 Custom Plastics, Springfield Enterprises and Fergerson Tools. Rick attended Life Changing Church, Edgerton, Ohio. In his younger years, Rick was a competitive member of the NAPA Pool Leagues and enjoyed playing pool, coaching baseball, playing poker and training Martial Arts.

Surviving are his three children, Free (Alisa) Beck of Eufaula, Alabama, Samuel (Michelle) Beck of Bryan, Ohio, and Autumn Beck of Bryan, Ohio; eight grandchildren; father, Jake Beck of Montpelier, Ohio; two sisters, Tina Shutts of Bryan, Ohio, and Julie Coulston of Clarksville, Tennessee; two brothers, Kenneth Beck of Bryan, Ohio, and Mike (Claudette) Beck, Sr. of Montpelier, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Virgina Beck.

Visitation for Rick will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Dave Nicholls officiating.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
