RIDE FOR CHILDREN ON SUNDAY

Check your cal­en­dar. That’s right, Christ­mas is only about 3 1/2 months away. Now, one area group of motor­cy­cle rid­ers is get­ting set to do their best for kids who may not get any toys oth­er­wise this year.

The Con­ti­nen­tals Motor­cy­cle Club will be mak­ing its annual Ravens Care Christ­mas Toy Run on Sun­day to col­lect funds to buy toys for Ravens, in Defi­ance, which will in turn, be giv­ing the toys to chil­dren for Christ­mas.

The cost is just $10 per rider. Sign-in time is at 11 a.m. on Sun­day at the Auglaize Fox Club in Junc­tion, off Pauld­ing County Road 111. The run, with first bike out at 1PM, is a lit­tle over 50 miles, and the dead­line is 4PM. Awards will be passed out to the rid­ers who par­tic­i­pate. Food and bev­er­ages will be avail­able all day Sunda at the Fox Club too.

The goal is to col­lect between $1500 and $2000 this year.
