Robert F. Coker, Jr., age 73, of Bryan, Ohio, died unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. A 1960 graduate of Hardin Northern High School in Dunkirk, Ohio, he was self-employed in the flooring business for thirty years and was a member of Bryan Eagles, Aerie 2233.
Born on June 24, 1941, in Orlando, Tennessee, he was the son of Robert F. and Allie Mae (Dorris) Coker, Sr.
Survivors include his children, Bobby (Marilyn) Coker, of Bryan, Jeffrey Coker (Beckie Grodi), of Toledo, Ohio, and Michele (Steve Grant) Coker, of Hicksville, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Robert Coker, Mathew Coker, Anthony Kurtz, Andrew Kurtz, Ryan Coker, Blaine Grant, Alexandra Beam, Jackson Coker, and Kennedy Coker; and four siblings, David Coker, of Middletown, Delaware, Paul Gene (Becky) Coker, of Dola, Ohio, Jackie Dotson, of Sabina, Ohio, and Brenda (Scott) Sampson, of Dunkirk, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Shirley Cramer, and one brother, Johnny Coker.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with a service to be held immediately following at 3:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
