Robert D. Jones, 48

Robert David “Bobby” Jones, age 48, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the University of Toledo Medical Center of complications from a bowel obstruction. Bobby was born on October 8, 1976 in Monroe, MI and came to live with his adoptive parents, Pastor Dennis and Pam Jones, on November 19, 1979. His life, with its physical and mental challenges, was a celebration of God’s love and mercy.

Bobby is survived by his parents, Dennis and Pam Jones, of Bryan, 4 siblings, Cindy (Bill Kazimier) Rohrbaugh, Tina Jones, and Dennis Jones, all of Bryan and Joshua Jones, of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his 2 sets of grandparents; a brother-in-law, James Rohrbaugh; aunt, Diana Ewers and cousin, Sonia Fournier.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation with his dad and Chaplain Denise Brown of the Filling Home officiating. Private interment will be at Shiffler Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for the Filling Home of Mercy and Union Chapel Church of God, where his dad has been pastor for 34 years.
