Robert J. “Bob” Ferguson, 57

Robert J. “Bob” Ferguson, 57, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, in his residence with his family by his side.  Bob was born March 10, 1966, in Paulding, Ohio, the son of James and Pamela (Rhonehouse) Ferguson.  He graduated from Mount Vernon High School.  Bob married Michelle R. Bassett on September 21, 1991, in Hicksville, and she survives.  He worked as a machinist at APT Manufacturing Solutions.  Bob was a member of the Model Power Boat Association (MPBA).  He also enjoyed snowmobiling, playing guitar, woodworking, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Reagan, who was his favorite person.

Surviving is his wife, Michelle Ferguson of Hicksville; three children, Danielle Etchey of Hicksville, Myranda (Dillon) Sensabaugh of Antwerp, Ohio, and Brody Ferguson of Defiance, Ohio; one granddaughter, Reagan, and a grandson, Wren, on the way; his mother, Pamela Ferguson of Hicksville; and two siblings, Shelly Smith of Hicksville, and Jamie (Christy) Ferguson of Edon, Ohio.  Bob was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation for Robert J. “Bob” Ferguson will be held Friday, February 23, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 812 East High Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.  A Celebration of Life will immediately follow in the church beginning at 12:30 P.M. with Minister Alex Heffelfinger officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 706 Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
