Robert N. Coleman, age 70, of Archbold, passed away Thursday morning, September 26, 2019, at CHP – Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice. He had worked at Waldron Industries in Waldron, Michigan and retired from there in 1994. After retirement, he became a dairy farmer. He had also worked as an auctioneer.
Robert was born in Logan County, Ohio, the son of William D. and Ruth M. (Neal) Coleman. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, rural Defiance.
Surviving is one daughter, Angela (Chuck) McNett of Pittsford, MI; two grandsons, Chas McNett of Pioneer and Andrew (Samantha) McNett of West Unity; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Isabell. He is also survived by one sister, Rosemary Hammond of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, George McNett.
Keeping with Robert’s wishes, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the benevolence of the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
