Rockey Will Not Serve On Council

Jason Rockey, who was elected to the Montpelier Village Council in November and slated to be seated Jan. 8, will not be seated after all. Rockey emailed Mayor Steve Yagelski, Village Administrator, Kevin Brooks, and council members, saying that due to circumstances unforeseen prior to his election, he would not be able to fulfill his duties. Members wished Rockey well.
