SCHOOL SCARE

Edger­ton Police report that two teenagers were arrested Mon­day evening in con­nec­tion with an alleged plot to attack their school.

The two were taken into cus­tody and locked up at the North­west Ohio Juve­nile Deten­tion, Train­ing & Reha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter in Stryker.

Police say the inves­ti­ga­tion began over the week­end fol­low­ing a call from a con­cerned par­ent.

The Williams County Pros­e­cu­tor filed felony charges against the two late yes­ter­day after­noon.

Inves­ti­ga­tors are not releas­ing any details of exactly what the pair intended to do, or why they appar­ently wanted to do it.

Due to their ages, their names have also not been released.

Mean­while, police say secu­rity has been ramped up at the school and fur­ther infor­ma­tion will be released soon.
