A severe and damaging storm raced across our area on Wednesday night, bringing down power lines and trees in it’s path of destruction. Toledo Edison reports a number of outages in and around Defiance, Florida and Wauseon, leaving hundreds of people in the dark. According to the National Weather Service, winds of up to 65 miles per hour buffetted the area, along with large hail as big as 1/2 inch in diameter. So far, we have no reports of anyone being injured in those storms.
