Sharon Hughes, age 73 of Holland passed away June 16, 2015 at the St. Luke Hospital in Maumee. Prior to her retirement she had been the school librarian at Holland Elementary for 34 years.
Mrs. Hughes was born on December 5, 1941 in Toledo the daughter of the late Walter and the late Thelma (Andrews) Nitschke. She married Charles Hughes and he preceded her in death in 2001. She enjoyed line dancing at Stoney Ridge and camping having been a member of the National Camping and Hikers Association.
Among her survivors is daughter; Tracey Hatfield of Toledo.
