Sharon Lee Stambaugh, age 84, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 11:04 A.M. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Genesis Healthcare-Bryan Center. Sharon was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and loved her cats.
Born March 30, 1932 in Bryan, she was the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Brannan) Hoffman. Sharon was the valedictorian of the 1950 class of Ney High School. She married Russell F. Stambaugh in Bryan on July 10, 1954 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2010.
Sharon is survived by her children, Russell “Gus” Stambaugh, Phil (Vicki) Stambaugh and Kristine Stambaugh and her grandchildren, Wesley and Mariah Stambaugh, all of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Martha and Lenore.
Visitation for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery
The family suggests memorial donations to the Williams County Humane Society.
