Shirley A. Brown, age 74, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away at 11:44 A.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at her residence. Shirley loved giraffes, her dogs and collecting dolls. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Montpelier.
Shirley was born on January 12, 1948, in Napoleon, Ohio, the daughter of John and Ruth C. (Thompson) Zuber. She married Eddie J. Brown on July 27, 1963, in Pioneer, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2005.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Rick) Deeds, of Montpelier, and Loria (Tom) Spadafore, of Bartlett, Illinois; three sons, Eddie (Connie) Brown, of Sheppard, Michigan, Denver (Jennifer) Brown, of West Unity, Ohio, and Douglas (Bianca) Brown, of Edon, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Deb) Zuber, of Bryan, Rick (Bev) Zuber & Ron (Chasity) Zuber, both of Montpelier. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patricia Hale.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 2:00 -5:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Osborne Cemetery, Camden, Michigan. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, the family requests casual attire.
Memorial are requested to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
