Shirley Loretta Ann Wolf, age 83, of Wauseon passed away peacefully early Friday morning, February 6, 2015.
Shirley was born on May 17, 1931 in Romulus, Michigan, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and the late Rose Elsie (VanderVoort) Shaw. Surviving are two sons; David (Julie) Wolf of Fairfax Station, VA, Tim (Vicki) Wolf of Liberty Center, OH, daughter Rose (Greg) Witt of Wauseon OH, daughter-in-law Judy Wolf of Maumee OH, brother Jack Shaw of Riverview, MI; her grandchildren Justin, Kourtney, Nate, Adam, Matt, Beth, and Shane Wolf and Emily and Gabe Witt. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her son, John Wolf, sister, Florence Weirich and brother, Robert Shaw.
Prior to her retirement she had been a Childcare provider to many generations of local families. She was a member of the Wauseon American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends. Friends may call at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 3:00-7:00pm. A memorial service will be held at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at 10:30am with Duane and Jon Bradner officiating.
