Solar Project Moves Forward

The Ohio Power Siting Board approves an application, filed by Arche Energy Project, LLC, to construct a 107-megawatt, solar-powered generating facility in Gorham Township, in Fulton County. The project will occupy 600 acres within an a 1,000-acre area. Officials say it will consist of large solar panels, ground-mounted on a tracking rack system. The project will also include access roads, an operations and maintenance building and more.
