Some children in Ohio could soon receive dental services through a new program backed by Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health. Gov. Mike DeWine first announced the Ohio Children’s Dental Services Pilot Program during his 2025 State of the State Address on March 12.DeWine and ODH Director Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff detailed plans on Wednesday for a pilot program which aims to improve school-age children’s dental health in disadvantaged areas statewide.
