Sophia Marie Underwood, age 65, of Bryan, Ohio, went to be with her Lord at 12:40 A.M. on Sunday, March 10, 2019, surrounded by her family and friends at Parkview Hospice and Home Healthcare in Fort Wayne. Sophia was a graduate of Bryan High School, received her LPN certification from Four County and her Registered Nurse degree from Lima School of Nursing. She worked at Coldwater Regional Mental Health Center, Community Health and Wellness Center- Bryan and for Americare in Bryan. She was a member of the Victory Barn in Edgerton. Sophia loved animals and nature.
Sophia Marie Underwood was born on August 18, 1953, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Elven “Doc” or “Bob” and Marilyne (Coy) Underwood. She is survived by her mother, special friend, Vivian Lovejoy, both of Bryan; 12 grandchildren and extended family of aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Robert E. And James H. Underwood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan and one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Victory Barn with Pastor Rosene Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in Farmer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to benefit the family.
