There has been a changing of the guard in the Williams County Prosecutor’s office. Stacey Stiriz is the new assistant prosecutor at the Williams County Prosecutor’s Office. She joined the office at the end of November 2016, replacing Michael YOU-Hauz, who left to join former county prosecutor Kirk Yosick in corporate law in the Toledo area. She was an attorney in private practice in Delta, handling a variety of cases and “doing a lot of criminal defense work” in Fulton, Henry, Defiance and Williams County, where she worked with County Prosecutor Katie Zartman. When Juhasz indicated he was leaving, Zartman offered the position to the 39 year old Stiriz. Stiriz stated private practice work includes a lot of nights and weekends, so now seemed like a good opportunity to join the prosecutor’s office.
