The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Sunday, November 10th at approximately 3:18 P.M. The crash occurred on County Road I, east of County Road 15.50 in Jefferson Township, in Williams County.
A vehicle operated by 89 year old Gerald C. Bogan, of Bryan, was eastbound on County Road I, when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Bogan was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
