Stephen A. Baden, 62, of Sherwood, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio. Stephen was born February 24, 1960, in Defiance, Ohio, the son of the late Albert and M. Charlotte (West) Baden. He was a 1978 graduate of Fairview High School. Stephen married Janet M. Jaskolski on May 7, 1982.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Janet; two children, Anessa (Don) Davis of Dublin, Ohio, and Prudence Miller of Sherwood, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lauren Davis and Nathan Davis; three sisters, Becky (Bob) Albertson of Defiance, Ohio, Julie (Greg) Seibert of Defiance, Ohio, and Sue Essman of Angola, Indiana; in-laws, John (Kathie) Jaskolski of Whitehouse, Ohio; Loraine Robinett of Bryan, Ohio, Bonnie (Tony) Davis of Ayersville, Ohio, and Michelle Jaskolski of Virginia Beach; Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister; Mary Olga.
To honor Stephen’s wishes, no visitation of services will be held at this time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood, Ohio 43556.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, or St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sherwood.
