Steuben Commissioners Say Names Will Stay On-Line

Steuben County Com­mis­sion­ers on Tues­day, rejected a request from two county employ­ees who asked that their names be removed from the county web site. It all began when a threat made against a Steuben County judge prompted a review of the county’s pol­icy in July about remov­ing names. After that, about 20 peo­ple asked that their names be removed.

County offi­cials though, said it would be expen­sive for the county to have the names removed and they said, other coun­ties are not doing it.
