Steuben County Sheriff’s deputy faces felony charges.

A deputy with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is faces felony charges in connection to official misconduct. Court records show Austin Rowlands, a detective sergeant with the force, faces three misdemeanor charges related to criminal mischief, as well in the case. Indiana State Police confirms with the media that it is conducting an investigation into the matter. A Steuben County judge grants a motion for an arrest warrant and sets Rowlands’ bail at $3,000 dollars.
