Steven M. Congrove, 63 years, of Bryan and formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio and Naples, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance. Steve was born June 17, 1954 in Circleville, Ohio, the son of the late Karl and Pauline (Queen) Congrove. He was a 1972 graduate of Zane Trace High School. He married Judy A. Ford on November 10, 1987, and she survives. Steve was a Realtor and Broker in Chillicothe, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio and Premier Properties on Marco Island, Florida, where he served as the Managing Broker. Steve most recently worked as a Car Salesman at Casebere Motor Sales for the past two years. He was a member of the North Naples United Methodist Church, Naples, Florida, Quartzsite Yacht Club in Arizona, the Bryan Moose Lodge 1064, Goshen Indiana Elks and the Eagles Aerie as well as the Family Motor Coaching Association. Steve and Judy traveled all over this great country in their RV, making friends and memories along the way. He loved meeting people and becoming friends all over the United States.
Surviving is his wife Judy A. of Bryan; three children, Stephanie (Joe) Congrove Oliver of Chillicothe, Ohio Jeneane (Jason High) Casebere of Van Wert, Ohio and John Casebere of Tacoma, Washington; five grandchildren, Tyler Oliver, Mackenzie Baker, Haley Walker, Carolus Casebere and Crowsen Casebere; one great-grandson, Tate Baker; one brother, Terry (Cathy) Congrove of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister-in-law, Kayln (Hank) Falk of Bryan and one brother-in-law, James T. Ford of Bryan, Ohio as well as the many friends he made traveling the country in his RV. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of Steven’s life will be held in the summer of 2018. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
