Stryker man originally charged with retaliation against a Henry County judge pleads guilty to a lesser charge.

A Stryker man originally charged with retaliation against a Henry County judge pleads guilty to a lesser charge, and then is sentenced to time served. Michael Hill is accused of aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. In pleading guilty to the lesser charge, Hill agreed to be prosecuted through a bill of information, rather than by going through a trial. The original charge of intimidation was a felony of the third degree, and Hill faced up to three years’ incarceration if found guilty. The court sentenced Hill to the maximum amount under the aggravated menacing charge, which is up to six months incarceration. Since Hill has been held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio for about 180 days, his time has been served.
