Susan Friedel, 67

Susan M. Friedel, 67 years, of Bryan, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Hillside Country Living where she had been a resident.  Susan was born March 18, 1947 in Henry County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Willis and Martha (Seedorf) Fetter.  She married David Larry Friedel on January 16, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2000.  Susan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who diligently cared for the needs of her family. Susan enjoyed gardening, woodworking and playing the piano.

Surviving are her four children, Josie McCullough of Montpelier, Jesse Friedel of Montpelier, Jackie (James) Lucas of Bryan and James (Angela) Friedel of Montpelier; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, William Fetter of Angola, Indiana; four sisters, Juanita Hahn of Leo, Indiana, Linda (Bob) Panning of Hamler, Ohio, Judy (Richard) Crouch of Deshler, Ohio and Debbie Fetter of Florence, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David, one sister, Sandy Coolman and two brothers, Robert Fetter and Infant Darwin Fetter.

Visitation for Susan M. Friedel will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.  Funeral services for Mrs. Friedel will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Dick Buchsteiner officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Blakeslee.
