Sylvia O. Culler, 90

Sylvia O. Culler, 90 years, formerly of Sherwood and Willard, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Hillside Country Living, Bryan Ohio from complications of congestive heart failure. Sylvia was born November 16, 1927 in Delaware Township, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Kuhn) Dell. She was a 1945 graduate of Sherwood High School. Sylvia married Stanley R. Culler on November 2, 1950 in Sherwood, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2002. Sylvia was a member of West Eagle Creek Presbyterian Church, Montpelier, Ohio. Sylvia enjoyed cooking, canning the produce of her garden, and sewing. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family and many friends.

Surviving are her two sons, Steve (Cherie) Culler of Alpharetta, Georgia and Scott (Susan Estill) Culler of Burnsville, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Corey (Bryan) Yag, Rebecca Culler, Chloe Culler, and Katrina Culler. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Sally (Peter) Mondron; sister, Betty (Raymond) Tonjes, and brothers, John (Mary) and Vernon (Alice) Dell and grandson Charles Estill Culler.

To honor Sylvia’s wishes there will be a graveside interment service held at 10:30 am on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio. Lunch to follow. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
