Terry Dee Taylor, 79

Terry Dee Taylor, age 79, of Palm Coast, Florida, and originally from Bryan, Ohio, peacefully joined our Heavenly Father on January 12, 2015, following a courageous nine-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Terry graduated from Ney High School in 1953 and attended the Bryan, Ohio, branch of Bowling Green State University for two years. He worked at The Aro Corporation in Bryan for 35 years as manager of the Printing Department. He then began his second career at The Ohio Art Company as Director of Lithography for 11 years. He and his wife, Joyce, relocated to Florida after their retirement from The Ohio Art Company in 2001. While in Florida, they attended Palm Coast Bible Church in Palm Coast, Florida.

Terry D. Taylor was born in Ney, Ohio, on July 28, 1935, the son of Irvin and Agnes (Garber) Taylor. He married Joyce Rath and they were blessed with two children, Melinda Joyce and Melanie Beth.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joyce; one daughter, Melanie “Beth” (Dennis) Weaver, of Palm Coast, Florida; two granddaughters, Brette (James) Walker, of Greenfield, Indiana, and Olivia Zuver, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; one great-granddaughter, Kiera Walker, and another great-grandchild to arrive soon; three brothers, Jerry (Ana) Taylor, of Overland Park, Kansas, Floyd (Mary Ann) Taylor, of Bryan, and Larry (Nancy) Taylor, of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Linda (Jack) Kroa, of Bryan, Cynthia (Phil) Rigelman, of Lynnwood, Washington, and Janis (John) Maxcy, of Port Orange, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Melinda Joyce Taylor; his parents; and his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Retha Rath.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 12:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00 P.M. Interment in Ney Cemetery will be private.
