The first drive-through COVID-19 test in Williams County is administered at Bryan Community Health Center. Officials at the facility on South Main Street hope the new, by-appointment testing process will help local efforts. It is a live virus test, in which a health center professional provides a cotton swab similar to a Q-tip. The same one swab is inserted inside each nostril three times and then returned to the health center in a collection tube during the drive-through procedure. There is no out-of-pocket cost for the tests. The health center will bill your insurance. Those without insurance, will cover the cost through the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund.
