Two local races from the Nov. 7 General Election remain in question. In Northwest Township, Duane Reamer was a clear winner with 177 votes but Doug Crawford and Robert Kissinger II tied with 166. All 506 votes cast in the township race will be recounted next week. If the race remains tied after the recount, the victor will be decided by coin flip. In the North Central school board race, three seats were available. Leigh Boothman won the first seat with 528 votes and Homer Hendricks won the second with 415. The other three candidates finished within 11 votes of each other…a recount is set there, too.
