The Ohio National Guard started deploying 2,300 soldiers and airmen throughout the state in response to the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this month. The team assigned to Williams County arrived Monday morning. Capt. Matthew Clairday, a communications officer from the 180th Fighter Wing in Toledo, brought six soldiers and four airman to support Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan and Montpelier.
