The state will help fund road reclamation project planned by the Williams County engineer.

The state will help fund a road reclamation project planned by the Williams County engineer. Officials approved signing a grant agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commissioner for $275,000 dollars…for a project on County Road 22. It recently had to be re-bid due to the engineer’s office not receiving any bids on it. Those new bids are scheduled to be opened soon. Earlier this month, officials told the commissioners the project stretches for three miles of road, from County Road F to Ohio 34, but due to the scope of the work, current cost estimates have the price tag at $100,000 dollars per mile…for just the reclamation. State funding would help pay for the paving portion of the project, which is different from the estimated costs listed for the reclamation.
