Therese A. Bryan, age 64, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance. Therese worked in many areas including cashier, teacher’s aide at Southwark Elementary School, and various positions with the professional Philadelphia sports teams, the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets in her spare time.
Therese was born on November 30, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Walter V. and Maryanne (Kinsley) Desmond, Sr. On August 18, 1981, she married Andrew A. Bryan in Memphis, Tennessee and he survives.
She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Bryan, of Defiance, Sean Barrett, of Philadelphia and Mark Bryan, of Napoleon; four grandchildren, Edward, Mia, Alana and Savannah and her brother, Walter V. Desmond, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents.
In accordance with Therese’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
Memorials in Therese’s name are requested to the American Diabetes Association.
